Rockfish Seafood & Steaks is owned and operated by a family from Ohio. You’ll find a variety of seafood, steaks, and ribs as well as craft beers, frozen drinks, cocktails, and wine. We all love live entertainment and happy hour- they have both! Happy Hour is 4pm-6pm doing the week AND all weekend long. They are Bengals fans and have a special “game day” menu. They have 1 thing marked gluten-free on their menu.

Tiki Hut claims to be the only bar ON the beach. This is an awesome place to catch live music afternoons and evenings all year long. Tiki Hut is located where the water and sand meet near the public access and the Holiday Inn.

Fish – HHI, casual coastal seafood, stands in the heart of Coligny Plaza. You can dine indoors or sit on the patio by the lagoon. You can easily see their menu and who is playing every night of the week on their website.

Big Bamboo Café

Big Bamboo Café in Hilton Head Island has an awesome website with weekly music and special events. This is the place to go for a build-you-own-burger.

Sea Pines Circle

Hilton Head has a little area up from Pope Circle toward Publix where a few bars and restaurants intersect by Sea Pines Circle. They call it the “Bermuda Triangle” or just “The Triangle.” Here you can find a nice little hub for dinner, live music, and maybe some dancing. This is also the location of some other restaurants mentioned in previous articles, One Hot Mamas and Brothers Shucker’s.

Not located in The Triangle, but also nearby are Charbar Co., Java Burrito, and The Jazz Corner.

Charbar Co. claims to have the best burgers and sushi on the island. Like their neighbors, they host patio seating, happy hour, and live music. They specialize in burgers, shakes, and brews.

Java Burrito is a REALLY amazing place! They’re website says, “Java Burrito Co. Is a family-owned and operated Mexican Grill & Coffee Bar in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We’ve only been around since 2013 yet the family history in the restaurant industry goes back over 100 years!! We use the finest ingredients and traditional methods to produce the most exceptional products. Our Burrito Bar and Coffee Bar sources organic and local food when in season. We never use artificial preservatives and absolutely no growth hormones or antibiotics.” The style of food they serve is Mexican/Southwestern. They have outdoor seating and serve wine and beer. They are closed on Sundays, but Monday-Saturday with breakfast being sold from 7:30am-11. Happy hour is everyday from 4-6- all cocktails are $5.

Located near Java Burrito Company, this dapper room is easy to find. The atmosphere here really stands out from your local deck party with a more “sit down” feel.

Featuring their signature drink “The Hurricane,” this bar is a great spot for live music for locals and visitors. Located off Palmetto Bay Road near Black Marlin Grill close to Shelter Cove and up from Coligny.

A Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant http://www.hhbackyard.com/ was on a LOT of our lists and honestly, they excel at entertainment too! You can’t go wrong with live music and food here! They have the best frozen sangria’s, grits, banana pudding, and ambience.

Located at Shelter Cove, Rooftop really is the hot spot on the island for music and entertainment. This is where you’ll find well known tribute bands and all genres of live music. Local bands play here regularly and also feature an in-house DJ. This is the place to go for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and private events.

They have the most amazon waterfront view and present lots of lawn games in their beer garden. Enjoy your night with live music, beer, and cocktails.

Live Music in South Beach in Sea Pines is the famous Salty Dog Cafe. Surely you’ve seen the shirts all over town! (They also have souvenir shops all over town that sell their shirts.) This is where you can go here for a waterfront view with live music.

Currently under redevelopment, The Quarterdeck https://www.experienceharbourtown.com/music-and-entertainment  is right in the center of Harbour Town! Enjoy live music while viewing the marina and lighthouse! Next door is Liberty Oak, an amphitheater where the island famous Gregg Russell http://www.greggrussell.com/ performs nightly during the summer.

Crazy Crab https://thecrazycrab.com/ tastes delicious! They also are located next door to The Quarterdeck. With views of the lighthouse for a window seat, you can’t go wrong. They also feature live music during the summer.

Harbour Town in general is a great place to relax and enjoy music! The whole area offers rocking chairs and sitting areas in this perfect atmosphere. Every Friday night during the summer, THIS is the place to be.
